Holly’s whistle when she hails a cab for Paul was actually dubbed in. Audrey Hepburn attempted to learn how to whistle with two fingers, but could never produce the desired sound. Asked whether she actually did it, Audrey responded: “It was dubbed in… I’d love to say I did, I tried so hard. I did get something but it was more like a squeak.”
